Olympus released two new digital cameras, the X-560WP and the T100. Both come with a 10 Megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, 2.4-inch LCD display and offer Intelligent Auto mode, Advanced Face Detection (16 faces for X-560WP and 12 faces for T100), digital image detection and AF tracking functions. The X-560WP comes with a 10 Megapixel sensor, 18 shooting modes, up to 1600 ISO, microSD adapter, and supports xD picture card. This camera has a waterproof seals and gaskets; makes it capable to works up to 10 feet below water surface.

Panasonic launched two versions of a new multi-format HD/SD camera with integrated pan-tilt-zoom mechanism. Two versions of the new camera, AW-HE50, have a different output option, one with an HDMI output ($4500) and the other holds an HD/SD-SDI output ($5500). The AW-HE50 can be operated by a remote camera controller, computers, and control systems from other manufacturers; makes it suitable to be located in remote area.

Lomography Released the Spinner 360 Panorama Camera

Lomography released the Spinner 360, especially designed to create a better panoramic photos. The cameras uses 25mm fixed focus lens and standard 35mm film that can be processed anywhere. It features rubber band drive for a full manual controls (no batteries required) and sunny/cloudy aperture settings. The Spinner 360 is able to create up to 8 full 360° panoramas on a 36-exposure film simply by hold it in one hand, pull the cord with other hand then release. In a second it will spins 360° around its own axis and captures everything around. The cameras provides with a tripod mount. It’s priced at 145.00.

Samsung Announced the NX5 Digicam in Germany

Samsung NX5 features a 14.6 MP APS-C size CMOS sensor, an electronic viewfinder, lens-shift image stabilization, Supersonic type dust reduction and Samsung’ NX mount, it’s also capable of 720p HD video recording, ISO 100-3200, and comes with a 3-inch LCD screen. Panasonic rolls out the new LUMIX DMC-FX75 with features 14.1 MP image sensor with Venus Engine HD II image processor, a 24mm ultra-wide-angle F2.2 bright LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens with 5x optical zoom with 6.5X digital zoom using Intelligent Zoom technology, 3-inch LCD display is attached. It also able ro record HD video in AVCHD Lite format, comes with Panasonic IA (Intelligent Auto) mode for Face Detection, Power ISO, and the new Motion Deblur mode. The LUMIX DMC-FX75 also features full touchscreen operation allowing Auto Focus (AF) to quickly be set to the subject by simply touching the 3-inch LCD display.
