ViewSonic launched the VG28, a series of ergonomic widescreen LCD displays that comprise of two models: the VG2028wm ($249) and VG2428wm ($369). The tVG2028wm features a 20-inch display with 1600×900 resolution, while the VG2428wm offers a 23.5-inch screen with 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. Both models offer DVI, VGA, and 2-port USB hub.

EIZO launched the new ColorEdge CF243W-B LCD display. The ColorEdge features a 24-inch screen with 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 850:1 contrast ratio, 270cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/178-degree viewing angle. Its monitor also covers 90% of Adobe RGB color space. This LCD display comes with IPS LCD panel, one DisplayPort, dual DVI-I inputs, and 2-port USB hub.

NEC will release the NEC P551 Professional LCD Display, the latest model of the professional-grade P-series, in August. The P551 features a 55-inch Full HD LCD display with 1920×1080 resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, up to 700cd/m2 brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, composite in/out and S-video connectors, Ethernet, RS-232 in/out, and also IR and DDC/CI control ports. The NEC P551 costs $3499. The AVT version of this LCD comes with a real-time clock and built-in scheduler (enables an advanced scheduling of monitor power), AmbiBright sensor, built-in IP tuner for 1080p streaming and ATSC/NTCS/Clear QAM signals, and will be available for $3649.

Epson will release a new 3LCD 3-chip projector, the VS400. This high-brightness projector features an XGA resolution and 4000 lumens brightness. The VS400 possess Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology, just like other Epson’s projector, which retains the lamp life up to 3500 hours in economy mode.
