BenQ released the XT4242, an LED-backlit LCD HDTV, in Taiwan. The XT4242 features 42-inch LCD display with 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit panel, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 1,000,000 dynamic contrast ratio, 6.5ms response time, and 178/178-degree viewing angle. This thin (approx. 3.99 cm thick) HDTV offers four HDMI 1.3 inputs, one D-sub as well as USB port for photo and music playback, and also a built-in 10Wx2 speakers with SRS TruSurround HD.

Sony launched the new BRAVIA BX30H series in Japan and the BRAVIA BX300 series in United States. Both BX30H and BX300 features 1366×768 resolution, CCFL backlight, 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, HDMI ports and 5.1-channel audio output. The BRAVIA BX30H comes in black and white color options and is equipped with 500GB internal hard drive and built-in TV tuner, while the BRAVIA BX300 comes with integrated Digital/Analog hybrid TV tuner.

Samsung just rolls out the C7000 Series Full HD 3D HDTV which comes in two models, the 46-inch UN46C7000 and the 55-inch UN55C7000. Both is equipped with LED-backlight, Full HD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio, 4 HDMI input, and is 3D and supports Internet@TV. Price will be $2,599.99 for the 46-inch and $3,299.99 for the 55-inch, both available at Amazon.

ViewSonic just introduces the new ViewLED Series LED TV which is available in four models, the 18.5-inch VT1900LED, 23-inch VT2300LED, 32-inch VT3200LED and 42-inch VT4200LED. The VT4200LED features Full HD 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4ms response time, 100k:1 dynamic contrast ratio, five HDMI inputs, a USB port, and RS232 connector. The 42-inch VT4200LED will carry a list price of $1199.
