
NEC will release the Life Touch, its new Android tablet, in Japan this October. The Life Touch is powered by ARM Cortex A8 processor with a 256MB of RAM. This 7-inch tablet comes with a 3 Megapixel camera, GPS, SD/SDHC card slot, built-in stereo speaker, accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1, and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity.

TCL released the TouchLife Android tablet in China. The tablet runs Android OS with extra unique platform which is suitable for educational purposes starting from kids to elderly. Powered by the 600Mhz RK2808A chip, the TouchLife provides a 5-inch 800×480 LED-backlit touchscreen with WiFi connectivity and Flash playback, and it also supports many media formats: RM/RMVB, AVI, MP4, H.264, XviD. A Vietnam site, Tinh te, revealed more detail information about Samsung’s new tablet and proclaimed that the information comes from a reliable source. It was stated in the site that the latest Samsung’s 7-inch Tab will run Android 2.2 (Froyo) on 1.2GHz A8 processor. It is powered by a 4,000mAH battery and comes with a 16GB of on-board storage, up to 32GB of microSD expansion, and a 7-inch Samsung’s Super AMOLED touchscreen panel. The tablet will be called Galaxy Tape, instead of Galaxy Tab.
