NEC will release the Life Touch, its new Android tablet, in Japan this October. The Life Touch is powered by ARM Cortex A8 processor with a 256MB of RAM. This 7-inch tablet comes with a 3 Megapixel camera, GPS, SD/SDHC card slot, built-in stereo speaker, accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1, and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity.

A Vietnam site, Tinh te, revealed more detail information about Samsung’s new tablet and proclaimed that the information comes from a reliable source. It was stated in the site that the latest Samsung’s 7-inch Tab will run Android 2.2 (Froyo) on 1.2GHz A8 processor. It is powered by a 4,000mAH battery and comes with a 16GB of on-board storage, up to 32GB of microSD expansion, and a 7-inch Samsung’s Super AMOLED touchscreen panel. The tablet will be called Galaxy Tape, instead of Galaxy Tab.
