Epson will release a new 3LCD 3-chip projector, the VS400. This high-brightness projector features an XGA resolution and 4000 lumens brightness. The VS400 possess Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology, just like other Epson’s projector, which retains the lamp life up to 3500 hours in economy mode. This budget-friendly projector ($999) also equipped with a closed captioning decoder.

Epson will release the PowerLite 1750, 1760W, 1770W, and 1775W portable projectors in October 2010. All of them are ultra slim (just 1.7-inch tall) lightweight (less than 4 pounds) projectors for professional users. These four projectors feature Horizontal Keystone Correction, USB plug-n-play function, Closed Captioning, E-TORL lamp technology and 1.2x zoom. The 1750 features XGA resolution, 2600 lumens of color brightness, with no optional WiFi connection and no HDMI input.

Epson released the BrightLink 450Wi, an ultra slim PowerLite projector. Aimed for business market, the 450Wi offers a broad resolution, ranging from XGA (produces an image size of 55-inches to 85-inches diagonal) to WXGA (produces an image size of 59-inches to 96-inches diagonal). It also offers 2500 lumens brightness, an ultra-show throw distance producing 60-inch image at 3-inch distance, E-TORL lamp technology for extended lamp life and integrated 10W speaker. This $2057.99 projector is equipped with two digital infrared pens as an interactive collaboration tool that enabled users to share their works.
