The latest model of the NOOK by Barnes & Noble family, the new NOOK WiFi, is now available for $149. Just as the original NOOK, the NOOK WiFi is an e-book reader based on Android with a 6-inch e-ink display, a 3.5-inch color touchscreen below the e-ink, 2GB internal memory and a microSD card slot, but with additional WiFi connection. Other offer from Barnes & Noble is the NOOK with additional WiFi plus 3G, namely NOOK 3G+WiFi. It is sold at $199.

This LumiRead will seamlessly integrates in the Acer clear.fi solution to let people live through a 360-degree Acer experience. No detailed info on available of price yet.

ViewSonic rolls out the new VEB625 and VEB620 e-book reader which comes with 6-inch 800×600 e-Ink display with 16-level grey scale. Both VEB625 and VEB620 has 2GB internal flash memory, support for XML (epub, fb2), HTML (html, htm), PDF, TXT, RTF office documents, and ready for MP3 playback. Both also equipped with built-in G-sensor for auto-orientation and shake-to-turn-page, offers a SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, mini USB 2.0 connector and supports for WiFi connectivity. The VEB625 comes with a touch panel offering users a freehand highlighting and annotation using the touch screen. These ViewSonic will be marketed at UK, however no further info about when it will be available.

Samsung E6 is the first eReader device from Samsung, featuring 6-inch e-Ink display with 600×800 resolution, 8-Gray scale, built-in MP3 player, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity, comes with an electromagnetic resonance (EMR) stylus pen for writing capabilities, 2GB internal memory, and a microSD card slot for expansion needs. The E6 will be priced at $299.

Asus releases their e-Book reader device, the DR-900 (a.k.a DR-950) at the CeBit 2010 events. The DR-900 features a 9-inch SiPix e-paper display with 1024×768 resolution at 150ppi and 16-grey scale. The Asus DR-900 equipped with 4GB internal flash memory, a SD card slot, and comes with WiFi 802.11g, and an optional 3G HSDPA connectivity. It can read PDF files as well as TXT, ePub, HTML documents, Audible (formats 4, Audible Enhanced (AAX)), MP3, JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP image files.
